Why These Web Pages Sailboat

These web pages have been created to educate and inform all visitors as to the history and current status of Noah's Ark. The Ark of Noah represents many incredible things:

1) If the Ark is located in Mount Ararat, it will emphasize the accuracy of the Bible account over all other deluge stories. For hundreds of years, the biblical account of the flood has been scoffed at as "fable", "legend" or "a corruption of the Gilgamesh Epic". Once and for all all other flood accounts would be revealed for what they are: human corruptions of the true story as recorded in Genesis.

2) It represents a time much like ours today. Notice the Biblical account in Matthew 24:36-44:

"But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.37 But as the days of Noe [were], so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two [women shall be] grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh." (KJV)

If the Ark is found, these words will become a strong witness and warning to those who see it.

Rainbow 3) My own personal fascination with the subject. Over the years, I have come across several books and/or articles which have made me think and ponder Noah's Ark. As a child I was impressed with the "animals" in the Ark, that Noah was a kind of "Doctor Dolittle" if you will. As an adult with children, I am impressed with the "family" theme and the preservation thereof and that all other life (air breathing) was destroyed save Noah and the passengers of the Ark. That God vowed to never again destroy man by flood because of his wickedness and left a sign of the rainbow in the sky for ALL of us to see as a memorial. And probably most profoundly, you who read this are related to me and others through one common father, Noah. We are his progeny. We are all related whether we like it or not. We are a scattered family and through time have built up many walls which divide us.

Noah's Ark represents a time of unity and faith for a family in a time when scoffers jeered Noah for his foolishness in building such a massive boat miles from any water. It represents hope for the future, that God will save us, just as He did with Noah through the return of His Son, Jesus. Sailboat

It is my hope that Noah's Ark will be revealed soon. God knows how many men have attempted to "find" the Ark. After much thought, I have come to these conclusions and believe that the following are premises for the discovery of the Ark:

Ark in Moutains 1) That the Bible is the inspired word of God

2) That the Ark which God instructed Noah to build, came to rest in the mountains of Ararat.

3) That other accounts of the "worldwide flood" are false and fictitious and are corruptions of the correct version as presented in the Bible.

4) That several men have actually seen, touched and walked upon the Ark.

5) That the Ark has been preserved in a glacier on the mountain.

6) That the Ark will be found after well organized and well funded expedition explores Mount Ararat late in the warm Summer months after a warm and dry winter and dry summer in Turkey.

7) And most importantly, that the Ark will be revealed when its according to God's will.
